Living Fast Since '74

Who is American Outlaw Design Company?

Marcus Moir didn’t come from a boardroom.

He came from a small town in Northern Maine — where winters were harsh, work ethic mattered, and dreams were built with your hands.

Long before American Outlaw Design Company existed, Marcus was chasing another obsession: motocross. What started as a kid riding dirt bikes eventually pushed him into the pro ranks, fueled by grit, sacrifice, and an unwillingness to quit. But racing wasn’t cheap, and nothing was handed to him.

To keep the dream alive, Marcus spent years airbrushing helmets, motorcycles, race cars, and just about anything that sat still long enough. What began as survival became an art form. Over decades, his passion for design evolved into custom motorcycle building, blending raw craftsmanship with the rebellious spirit of outlaw biker culture.

That same spirit eventually found a new canvas: jewelry.

For the past 10–12 years, Marcus has poured his life experiences into every piece created through American Outlaw Design Company — crafting biker-inspired jewelry that represents resilience, freedom, individuality, and the road less traveled. Every design carries the influence of racing, custom culture, late nights in the shop, and a lifetime spent creating with his own two hands.

This isn’t mass-produced jewelry made by a corporation chasing trends.

It’s built from experience. From scars. From passion. From a man determined to leave behind something real.

At the center of it all is family.

American Outlaw Design Company is more than a brand to Marcus — it’s a legacy he’s building for his wife and daughter. A way to create something meaningful that stands the test of time, just like the people who wear it.

When you buy from American Outlaw Design Company, you’re not just buying jewelry.

You’re supporting an artist, a builder, a racer, and a lifelong creator who still believes hard work and authenticity matter.

Built for the outlaws.
Forged through experience.
Made with purpose.

Still a little unclear? It’s impossible for me to break down the past 40+ years onto one about page. Check out our work and follow us on Facebook, Instagram & X to see how our story unfolds.

I’d like to end this post with one of my favorite quotes -
”To me, an outlaw is a man that did things his own way, whether you liked him or not. I did things my own way.” ~Johnny Paycheck

About the Artist

Growing up in the motorcycle industry, I was a racer, airbrush artist, enthusiast, and dabbled in custom bike fabrication over a 30 year period. For a little more than a decade now, I moved into manufacturing which led me into this path of 3D printing and metal casting.

I have spent the past 5 plus years combining skillsets that I’ve learned over the years while constantly trying to learn and improve upon those skills and acquire new ones to create one of a kind art pieces.
